“Michael Recycle is a superhero that helps towns to recycle. The story was nice. My favorite part was when they made green toilet paper.” Ernesto, 8.

Michael Recycle, written by Ellie Bethel and illustrated by Alexandra Colombo, is about a recycling superhero who helps people clean up their act. The story starts in a town called Abberdoo-Rimey where residents throw their rubbish into the streets. Our hero, Michael Recycle shows up to save the day and he also demonstrated various recycling techniques including gray water recycling using Dr. Seussesque fantasy machines. The result is a beautifully illustrated, entertaining message for kids of all ages. The back of the book offers readers (and their parents) real green tips including the age-old turn the water off when brushing your teeth and walk instead of drive where possible.
