Makepiece clothing label

Green Pages

Makepiece humorously calls itself a “sheep farming fashion label” and makes a delightful collection of sustainable knitwear and wovens. Beate Kubitz owns the sheep and buys in yarn from British farms; Nicola Sherlock designs the feminine shrugs, cardigans and wraps; and Manda Johnson-Holme creates skirts, trousers and dresses from a combination of hemp, silk and environmentally friendly, cellulose-based fiber Tencel®.
