Ecotwirl has been a long time coming. Make that a very long time! But here it finally is. An online community where people can come to read stories about other people trying to bring about change in the world, be it social or environmental, be it on a small or large scale. An online magazine where you can read in-depth profiles of eco-heroes, pithy reviews of environmental products, films and books, and build up a massive directory of essential green products, organisations and services around the world.
As long-term freelance journalists working in the ethical sector, and two women (one based in Italy, one in the UK) attempting to live as ethically as they can (some essential flying excluded!), we have address books full of contacts and correspondents willing to share information, stories and photos and tell us what’s really happening on the ground.
We hope you will agree with us that online magazines are the way of the future. They are cheaper, more sustainable and more immediate.
